Adams County, Mississippi

Tansy Island Hunting Club Share. The club consists of 1387 acres between three parcels. This is a 1/26th membership into an undivided interest in one of Mississippi's oldest and most respected hunting clubs. The club was founded in 1904 and is Mississippi's oldest on record. Wildlife hunted by the club includes deer, ducks, turkeys, squirrel, hog, other small game, and fishing. THIC will harvest 50+ deer annually, and they are on a management program with the DMAP (Deer Management and Assistance Program) overseen by the state biologist. Each share holder will have room for themselves and a guest in the main lodge which includes kitchen, bathrooms, skinning shed, and storage for utility vehicles.

The three parcels will provide different terrain and species to hunt allowing the members to spread out and cover more territory. The Hills and Deadening Hunting Area's will primarily hunt for deer, turkey, hog, and squirrel while the Bar Pits Hunting Area will be for the waterfowler.
