PHILLIPS COUNTY, ARKANSAS
The Potts Tract is a 835 acre tract, fronting the Mississippi River 23 miles south of Helena Arkansas near Elaine, AR. This is a prime hunting area for deer and turkey. There are 17 acres of prime cropland on the protected side of the levee. Part of this protected land can be use for a hunting lodge safe from flood waters. There is an additional 40 acres of farmed cropland on the unprotected side of the levee. The soils on this tract are some of the most productive silt and sandy loams in the Mississippi Valley. These soils are capable of growing 500 board feet of timber per acre per year. These soils have the nutrients to produce 150 inch class deer.
